What is, Audio Mixing?
& Why is it Important?
Audio mixing is the process of taking a combination of sound elements (vocals, instruments, sounds and artifacts) from a recording, or file, and putting them together to make a cohesive and smooth sounding result. Adding effects (reverb, delay, automation, panning, phase shifting, modulation etc..) to these sound elements can give surreal sounding tones, textures and layers, which can thus, create a desirable sound or experience for your listeners. Mixing also removes unwanted artifacts such as clicks, pops and noises that can make a recording sound messy and undesirable/unpleasing to the listeners ear. Good mixing is what separates an amateur sounding song from a professional sounding song. Let us help you take your music and audio to the next level.

This is ONE instrumental and your vocal tracksWhich could, but not always, include such things as: Vocal alignment and tuning, EQ, Compression, Reverb, Delay and various other effects. All used with a hybrid of analog gear and digital software

Light Mastering can also be included at the clients discretion. This part of the service is NOT done by a mastering engineer (which is highly recommended to seek out) independent of our services here at the Laughing Buddha
